Hands on: Google+ on Honeycomb

Hands on: Google+ on HoneycombGoogle+ is out and we’re sure you’ve been reading all about it on the many, many sources online. We also got our invite today and after getting bored of playing with it for ten minutes or so wondered want the mobile app was like and how it played out on Google’s own Android tablets. The good news is sure enough a Google+ app is available on the Android Market. The bad news is that on tablets it’s currently awful. Google does go to great lengths to point out this is still very much in development so we’re keeping any judgement to ourselves at the moment. As a phone app the Google+ app certinaly works very well and obviously that’s where all the development time has gone. We’re sure Google will be updating a dedicated Honeycomb tablet version soon. Or it had better.
