siri reveals apple event date

Siri Leaks Apple Event Date Planned for April 20th

When it comes to Apple and any of their upcoming events, there’s one thing for sure: No one really knows when they are going to take place. They really like to keep the details to themselves and drop an announcement right out of the blue a day or two before the actual event.

But this time around thanks to their virtual assistant app, Siri, the information has been disclosed accidentally. This type of reveal occurs if an iOS user asks Siri about when the upcoming Apple event will take place to which Siri answers “The special event is on Tuesday, April 20, at Apple Park in Cupertino, CA. You can get all the details on Apple.com”

With that being said and Siri giving out the accurate time and place of the event, it’s important to know that not every iOS user can get this reply from the virtual assistant Siri.

Oops!

In order to get the event information from Siri, first you must bypass the so-called geo restrictions if possible since this is avaialble only for US citizens.

Apple Event: New Products

On another note, when it comes to the products that Apple plans to unveil during their upcoming event this month there are some speculations across media.

The star of the show is supposedly going to be the new iPad Pro which should come in two main size-variants, the 11 and 12.9-inch version with possibly thinner bezels, design-wise identical to the 2020 iPad Pro with the same square camera module on the rear, the same power button placement on the top and Face ID as expected.

When it comes to the hardware, there’s no doubt that the 2021 iPad Pro will feature the all new 5nm A14 Bionic chip and a 6-core GPU. According to 9to5Mac there is a slight possibility that a new, more powerful version of the A14 Bionic chip may be introduced with the 2021 iPad Pro, named A14X.

There are also rumors about Apple switching to Mini LED technology for the new iPad Pro which should later be introduced to Macs, phones and other future products.

A Mac redesign and AirTags are also rumored as a part of the program for the April Apple event.

So, are you excited for the April Apple event and the possibly all-new iPad Pro 2021, a Mac redesign or maybe even the Air Tags? Let us know!
